Every FDW mattress follows the same recipe at a different scale: a gel-infused memory foam comfort layer over a high-density support core, wrapped in a zip-off washable cover and vacuum-rolled into a box one person can move. The gel layer pulls heat away from the body, the base foam does the structural work, and the whole build carries CertiPUR-US certification — no ozone depleters, no heavy metals. Pick by thickness: 5 inches for bunks and daybeds, 8 inches for everyday bedrooms, 12 inches where you want a plusher, deeper cradle.

Before you order
Five inches suits bunk beds, trundles and daybeds where rail height matters. Eight inches is the everyday-bedroom standard. Twelve inches sits noticeably plusher and works best on platform or slatted frames for adults.
All four ship compressed. They are sleepable the first night, but the foam reaches its rated height and feel after up to 72 hours of expansion — judge firmness after the weekend, not after the unboxing.
Each model has a removable cover that unzips and goes in the washing machine. That, plus an occasional rotation head-to-foot, is the entire upkeep routine.
